Adrian F. C. Hobkirk, President, C.E.O. & Director
Mr. Hobkirk has over 17 years experience within the gold resource exploration sector, beginning
with Norgold Resources Ltd. in 1989. Norgold was purchased by Bema Gold for the
value of the Yarnell Project, a 350,000 ounce gold deposit. He was also a
founding director of Can-Pro Development Ltd in 1989, which conducted
initial exploration at the Dublin Gulch Project; now a 2-million ounce gold
deposit. Mr. Hobkirk has worked in Arizona, Nevada, Canada, South
America and has extensive experience in Latin America, having worked in
Venezuela, Argentina and Chile. His experience in Guyana began in 1995
with the exploration of the Groete Creek area by Kaieteur Resources, and he has
well-established relationships and extensive practical knowledge of operations
in that country. Mr. Hobkirk has been responsible for founding Gold Port
Resources Ltd., and for all of the acquisitions within the Company. Mr.

A.D. (Darryl) Drummond, Ph.D., P.Eng., Director
A.D. (Darryl) Drummond, Director,
is a Ph.D and a professional engineer and has been a director of Minera
Andes since June 1996. He graduated from the University of British
Columbia with a B.A.Sc. in Geological Engineering in 1959 and with
a M.A.Sc in 1961. He obtained his Doctorate degree in 1966 from
the University of California at Berkeley. As an undergraduate and
graduate, he worked with Kennco Explorations (Western) Ltd. during the
period 1958 to 1961. He has been associated with the Placer Development
Group of Companies since 1963, first with Craigmont Mines Ltd, then
Endako Mines and Gibraltar Mines.
At the Placer head office since 1967,
he initially was a Research Geologist and then Assistant Exploration
Manager, Western Canada, for Canex Placer Ltd. During 1977 to 1979, he
was Manager of Placer Development y Cia. Ltda, in Santiago, Chile, then
returned to the position of Research Geologist with the Technical
Services Advisory Group for the Placer Group of Companies in Vancouver.
Since 1981 he has been a consulting professional engineer, concentrating
on all aspects of mineral deposit evaluation covering
precious metal, base metal, and industrial mineral types in such
countries as Argentina, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador,
Guyana, Mexico, Philippines, USA and Venezuela. He is a member of the
Society of Economic Geology and a member of the Geology Section of the
Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
He was director of Cadre
Resources Ltd. from November 1994 to Februyary 1995; director of All
North Resources Ltd from May 1995 to July 9, 1996; and director of
International All-North Resources Ltd. from July 10, 1996 to December
23, 1998; director of The Quinto Mining Corporation from September 11,
1996 to August 10, 1997; director of Riverdance Resources Corporation
from January 1998 to December 15, 1998; director of Kaieteur Resources
Corporate from December 23, 1998 to January 12, 2005; director of
Saxony Explorations Ltd. from February 2000 to September 24, 2005; and
director of Valerie Gold Resources from November, 1998 to March 27,
2003; director of Valgold Resourceds Ltd. from March 27, 203 to
present; director of Wolasco Minerals Inc. from October 12, 2004 to
December 16, 2004; director of Gold Port Resources Ltd. from
December16, 2004 to present, and director of Samba Gold Inc, form
January, 2005 to present. He is also a director of Minera Andes Inc.
and Valgold Resources Ltd.
Allen V. Ambrose, Director
Mr. Ambrose has 24 years of experience in the mining industry,
including work with larger companies as well as junior exploration
companies. He has been a director of Minera Andes since November, 1995.
Mr.
Ambrose has extensive experience in all phases of exploration, project
evaluation and project management, and has worked as a geologic
consultant in the U.S., Venezuela, and Argentina. As a consultant, he
was a co-discoverer of a Venezuelan auriferous massive sulfide deposit
acquired by Gold Reserve Corporation, and known as the Brisas deposit.
He has been employed as the exploration manager for N.A. Degerstrom
Inc., a U.S. contract mining company, and has worked as a geologist for
Cyprus minerals, Kidd Creek Mines, Molycorp, Boise Cascade and Dennison
Mines. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Geology from Eastern Washington
University.
Mr. Ambrose sat on the board of directors of Cadre
Resources Ltd. until March 2001, and has been a director of Kaieteur
Resource Corporation and Century Mining Corporation since July 2002.
Wayne D. Johnstone, C.A., C.F.O. & Director
Mr. Johnstone graduated from the University of B.C. in 1977 and articled with
a major accounting firm, earning his chartered accountant designation in 1979.
Mr. Johnstone has more than 29 years financial and accounting experience,
including 20 years experience with public and start-up companies. Mr.
Johnstone has worked with both Canadian and U.S. public companies, whose
operations have been in North America, South America and Asia. Mr.
Johnstones' role has lately been in financial reporting and tax compliance and

Kenneth A. Sadowski, Director
Mr. Sadowski worked with Mr. Adrian Hobkirk in the gold resource exploration sector
with Norgold Resources Ltd. in 1989. Norgold was purchased by Bema Gold for the
value of the Yarnell Project, a 350,000 ounce gold deposit. After Norgold
Resources Ltd., he worked as a Marketing Consultant in Vancouver, British
Columbia and Calgary, Alberta. Mr. Sadowski holds a B.A. in Economics.

David Bacchus, Country Manager
As past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission
from 2003-2005, Mr. Bacchus has been involved in diamond and gold mining for the last
30 years. As an active miner from 1976 to 1992, he was awarded a prize for producing
the most diamonds in one calendar year. As a miner's advocate, he rose to the position
of President of the Guyana Gold and Diamond Miners Association, a producer's body
responsible for over 80% of local production of gold and diamonds. He also served as a
representative of the Miners on the Board of Directors of the Guyana Geology and
Mines Commission - the regulatory agency for the mining sector of the Guyanese
economy from 1994-2002. Active today as Gold Port's Country Manager in Guyana,
Mr. Bacchus brings a wealth of practical knowledge of mining together with a keen
understanding of the laws, rules and regulations of the Guyanese mining industry.
